Emmy Extra Editions

I have been fortunate the last several years to be asked to shoot the Variety Emmy Extra Editions, which highlight the top actors and talent in TV for that year.
For this one I wanted to build a small set out of seamless paper, foam core and the occasional large cardboard box. It’s so much more fun to shoot somebody in a space you can move around and play within. The walls were also so light I could just move them and create different spaces depending on the talent.
This setup also required a fair amount of grip and rigging which is quite fun to conceptualize and build.
