Variety TV Fest

These are some of my favorite photos from a portrait studio I did at the Variety TV Fest.
I’m often asked to do these quick, celebrity portrait studios and they can be tricky to execute at times. You get very little time with each person and the portrait is typically just one small part of their day.
However, I find that I typically get a few great photos out of each one so it keeps me coming back. I also enjoy the challenge of turning a hotel conference room into an elegent portrait space to create imagery. I’d build a whole set if I had the budget and the time.
I’m a big ‘Drag Race’ fan so the opportunity to photograph Onya Nurve, Jewels Sparkles and Bob the Drag Queen was the highlight for me.
