Zachary Levi

I was asked to photograph Zachary Levi for a recent piece in Variety about a studio he is building in Texas. There is an empty floor in the Variety building so we chose to do the shoot there to try and emphasize that idea of construction. 

I find these empty floors very interesting to photograph and visually compelling. This was a good opportunity to use some creative and colored lighting to light the space and the planes to make what could be a drab, grey space into something more interesting. 

We also did a second setup on a red canvas backdrop I painted last year. I’m glad these backdrops are getting some milage.
